Beautiful! Excellent purchase and I'm glad it worked out for you. Don't you just love that blue dial? I have a 36mm OP but I stare at mine all the time in different lighting, especially when outside.

Nice-I just put myself on a list a couple weeks back for the same watch at an AD in a city I travel to with no purchase history, but the SA seems genuinely interested to help-love the blue! Interested to see how long it takes.

That is correct, ADs sell to the customer they like at the moment and what best benefits the store. Good timing and chemistry are really important.

Then today I got a call to come pick up a watch. But it wasn’t from the local AD that I’ve bought watches in the past year from. It’s from an out of town AD that I popped into 2 weeks ago when I was on business travel. I have not spent one dime in this store.

So I’m happy to go pick up the watch, but I’m annoyed that it isn’t from the guy that I’m actually spending money with. It also belies the point about a relationship etc. They sell to you if they like you.

Which makes me sad because apparently all these SAs in the numerous other stores I’ve gone into apparently don’t like me or the look of me. Lololol

I’ll post pics when I pick it up.
Nice!
