As soon as the jubilee came out I told him "Anything with a blue dial" I prefer the jubilee but would have happily taken the oyster if offered first.

I did get offered the white dial SS version twice (I think it was the same watch) but declined. I really wanted the blue and the white wears even larger than the blue. 42mm in a with a darker dial is probably as large a watch as I can sport.

Got it - in my opinion the blue with jubilee is the best combo. Fantastic pickup and jealous my AD does not celebrate with a bourbon! They have great taste, Basil Hayden’s is a solid bourbon.

Wow! It makes me happy to see fellow members get watches nowadays! The wait almost makes it, that much more special!

Doesn’t it?

Congrats on the SkyD and MOST importantly having the patience to wait. Good grief idk if I have the same ability to wait that long but I know it’s well worth it if you can.

Well done brother

I have 2 SkyD’s and it’s by far my favorite reference in the entire Rolex catalog

That's awesome! Congratulations!

I am really impressed with the AD offering you a bourbon, must be a pretty cool AD.

Enjoy the watch!

If I was an AD I’d keep a bottle of Blantons or Van Winkle 10 year around for delivery days!
