Nato/Zulu source

Most of my natos are maratac Zulu straps

I purchase them through www.broadarrow.net

one caveat the zulu is a bit thicker than a normal nato. Makes for a tight fit on a modern watch. They work they are just tight.

Fit perfectly on a vintage piece

Looks great Dan, the vintage datejust would look good no matter what you had it on.

What's wrong with a DJ on a strap, Dan?

I like the Nato on Rolex tool watches, either nylon or leather. The green Nato on the Cosmograph. Jeans, t-shirt and a Rolex. You can travel the planet with that. And, I like the look of black leather with the SS Oysterdate watches. But, even though the Oysterdate is as rugged a wear as any tool watch, it can also be very much at home as a dress watch for work or play. However, not with a leather Nato. A quality alligator strap with a Rolex buckle is at home on any occasion. What matters, however, is how you as an owner of a Rolex feel about the watch when it is on your wrist. What anyone else says is just chatter.

Very handsome. But then, I admit to a fatal flaw: I have no love for the steel band.

No complaints here, Dan. I don't think I have EVER seen one of your combos that I haven't liked. Your taste is impeccable.

That's a shame. The most expensive thing one can own is a closed mind. Nothing wrong with wanting to keep things original just as there's nothing wrong wearing your watch the way you want.
