Not a OP, however a 36mm DJ. It’s gets the most wrist time out of my collection.

Same here. I love my Everose YM precisely for this reason. Just a great combo for precious metal. My only other PM is on leather which I prefer for my lifestyle.

Why does Rolex NOT offer the OF on SS models?

IMO, it's marketing genius. They substitute a rubber-derived bracelet (OF) for a gold bracelet, and reduce the MSRP just a little. Because it's "only" available on PM models, it becomes an upscale option, and Rolex is saving the cost of supplying a gold bracelet.

TBH, I would never get Smarty end links and OF straps (if I could source them) for my Daytona, but would definitely give it a go if I had a SS Daytona. I think it's a slightly odd pairing with precious metal, but that's of course just my opinion.

Even worse is RM's that cost more than some houses coming on a velcro strap

I wear my OF Daytona more than any other watch. Probably about 50% of the time it's on my wrist. It could easily be a daily if I didn't have a couple other watches that I also like to wear.

I bought a RG OF (new model) about 2-months ago and since haven’t worn my no date sub once.

I like my 116500 Daytona with endlinks and a Etsy FKM rubber strap. Works well. I can go back to the bracelet anytime. I still like having the bracelet. I like this combo for work since I am not tearing up the bracelet desk diving.

This could be worn to the gym or with a tux and doesn’t draw the attention a full bracelet does.

I wear my OF daily and it is one of the most comfortable watches of all time IMHO.

Additionally, it flies so under the radar. That's a big plus for me. You can wear it with shorts, jeans, or with a suit. It is so versatile.

Wear mine about 30% of the time. Hard to not wear SS Daytonas, which make up rest of 70%.
