I wore mine through a few metal bracelets breaking in and haven't had any real issues. I think it comes down to comfort and the materials. Some mens wedding bands are much thicker or have sharp edges, which can rub or catch depending on how your watch fits. I switched to a thinner platinum band and haven’t noticed any trouble since, even with tighter jubilee bracelets.
