smooth and pcl looks amazing on DJ, and especially with the azurro blue dial. I had this and I miss it!

If you like it that's all that matters. There are so many DJ permutations, something for nearly everybody.

I love the smooth bezel DJ, It has always been my first choice of DJ, I can also go for he fluted bezel but I will always choose the smooth if I must choose one.

I personally have a DJ36 on jubilee with smooth bezel and I LOVE that watch and would never sell it. So comfortable and classic and goes with everything.

I’d imagine if I got this on jubilee and fluted, I wouldn’t wear it as often as I do with smooth on oyster, especially not with a jean jacket and jeans as pictured.

I think it also looks great on oyster, too. That being said you can't go wrong buying both bracelets, either. What matters is that smooth bezels are highly underrated.

Looks so nice - I was just playing around with the configuration with this exact combo

Not at all. I have the DJ36 with a smooth bezel on an oyster. It goes well with casual and dressy attire. My personal opinion is that the fluted bezel is dressier, and I wouldn’t wear such a watch with more casual attire.

I had a duo of DJ’s. DJII that was Azzurro w Flutted and Romans. Dial was amazing. Also had DJ 41 black, smooth and Oyster. Very classic and elegant. I like your watch

I love mine. I like both options. Smooth/Oyster is just a much more sporty look that suits my lifestyle better. The Fluted/Jubilee makes the watch much more dressy. Just buy what suits you the best. You can’t really go wrong

The white with romans might be an even better option. I think with Roman numbers they go really well with the smooth bezel.

Personal preference. I prefer the classic fluted bezel with the jubilee bracelet.

I’ve come round to liking smooth bezel and Oyster best. Sportier suits it. Good luck deciding.

So, has this itch been scratched?

I doubt he minds that it’s cheaper! OP, it’s a beautiful watch! Get it if you want it. Who cares what WE think. That blue dial is stunning is what I think.

I have been trying to find a ladies DJ with smooth bezel and oyster bracelet for a friend, my AD says they don’t come in a lot though.

I prefer the Datejust with the Oyster. I had a blue fluted 41 on Oyster and loved it (a bit more sporty & masculine).

1 1/2 weeks ago “I got the call” for my latest request (it took 6 weeks and 5 days to be fulfilled) - the OP41 blue. I actually wanted a daily without date/cyclops and brushed Oyster. While not identical, I do think the Datejust and OP on Oyster are AWESOME WATCHES!

I love the DJ on an Oyster bracelet (not a fan of Jubilee bracelets), but with a fluted bezel.

Currently have two smooth bezel DJ41s. Both of these are Romans. The smooth bezel helps to not overcomplicate the look of the watch with Romans. Romans look nice with fluted, but for me, I prefer Romans with the smooth bezel. One of mine is Oyster and the other Jubilee. I do have fluted DJs as well, but those are with the indices.
