I just got back from Aruba, and encouraged by your post, went to Gandelman’s to see what was available. Many PM and TT watches available to purchase that day including DJ, DD, TT Sub and Sea Dweller, and WG GMT.

They were great I agree, but considering I wasn’t looking for TT or PM, I left with nothing to show for the visit. We were very close on an anniversary watch for my wife, but the closest option was a diamond bezel that my wife considers too flashy for her and thus saved me 9k compared to her preferred reference.

I don’t remember a root beer, but they did have a rose gold Sky Dweller. The place was lousy with PM and TT. Unfortunately, I was not as lucky as you with SS.

My dad had the black dial 116500 and I had the white 116500 borrowed it a couple times but always favored my white dial. We traded our for the new 126 versions and for the first time I long to where his more now.

As someone here said the black 126500 is more appealing but the white 126500 is more interesting

Hey Doug, I’m currently in Aruba and stopped by and said “Hi” to Linda. Available for purchase today was the WG Pepsi, Exp1 39, YG sky, fluted DJ blue dial and YG sub blue dial. I showed constraint and did not pull the trigger on the exp1. The missus was said good job. I didn’t bother walking over to Omega as the sun and heat is merciless.
