This is my third Moser and second Streamliner.

I am actually quite surprised at how different the Small Seconds (SS) is from the Center Seconds (CS) . The bezels on the case, bracelet are much smaller. The bracelet is thinner. I figured the bracelet would be the same, but it is not, the taper is quite different as are all of the aforementioned bezels. The bracelet starts at 1mm less than the CS but ends at the same clasp. The crest is engraved deeper. On my CS it appeared to be laser etched. It may still be laser etched, but it is much more pronounced.

The case wears much thinner. While the overall dimensions are only 1mm thinner, this is a bit deceptive as the crystal is just proud of the case on this one. On the CS it is flush to the case. The overall appearance is just refined, thinned, and reduced.

Much has been said of the dial. It is very nice. The small seconds dial blends much better than i expected it to. The truth is that the dial is not what is captivating me the most. It is the proportions of the watch. I realize this is impossible to explain, but this variant is just so differently executed.

Interesting observations thanks for sharing. I like the dial too, the enameled texture is awesome, and I like the sub dial a lot more than I thought I might. I think it makes this particular model better than it otherwise would be. But it’s the proportions I find to be the most surprising and delightful.

Looks great on you too! And nice side by side thanks, it’s very informative. I’m interested to see how you end up rotating these after the new one settles in.

I like the Moser but think the tie-up with this particular brand is not a great match. Much prefer for them to play in the high-end space only.

At $59k it’s still playing in the upper tier — especially since you can’t get the Studi0 underd0g alone.

Yes. But why a buyer of a Moser Perpetual would desire association with a brand like this I don’t see. Moser and MB&F? Yes please. This one, not so much. Love the colour combo though. Very very fresh.

I have very expensive watches and I have far cheaper ones, including a Studi0 Underd0g, Ming, and other sub-$3k watches. I don’t view it as a dilution but obviously others do.

I love it, a more playful side of horology. Tho yes, some may prefer something a bit... understated. Their Apple watch Vanta dial is about as 'stealth' as it gets. This new one ain't that.

Viva la difference

Wait, BOTH are around $60K US? But one is the perpetual, and the other is just time?

Why?

Bummer. The monopusher would have been much nicer as a panda. Not a fan of the different subdial diameters and colors.

What’s the matter with the website? It’s been down all day. That cannot simply be because of high traffic I would think.

Normally I’m a huge fan of Moser collabs but this is a huge misfire to me.

Y’all, I really like the good watch vibrations Moser puts out there, and I love their design sensibility. But for 60k this isn’t working for me. Nor is the Studio Underd0g, relative to their other watches, which I really dig. But I do hope they do well anyway, and perhaps it’s the start of a relationship that results in success for both!

Kind of cool, kind of not. The pics of the Moser look terrible, but the video actually highlights the dial and the way things are framed on the dial quite nicely. I’m sure it looks even better in person, as most watches do and obviously if you’re into this color combo (I don’t think I am).

I don’t know much about Studio Underdog. I don’t mind this collab since it seems very “Moser” to me. I’m not a buyer, and this doesn’t move the needle for me one way or the other.

Hard pass on these gimmic Mosers. The brand makes some really wonderful watches, but also produces some tacky horrors. And CHF60k ish for a joke watch. Geeze.

I don't own a Moser yet. And these gimmics do kinda turn me off the brand. Silly to feel that way maybe when they make some elegant watches with super interesting in house movements, but the "not taking yourself too seriously" vibe is corny.

I totally get the corniness being a bit much. It’s a fine line between having a sense of humor/being playful to being too cute where it gets annoying. Still, I prefer the jokey/fun vibe to the overly serious tone almost all watch brands have.

I visited Moser at Geneva Watch Days and got to spend some time with the new watches. The “passion” watches are not for me - too edgy for me. They also showed us the streamliner minute repeater and it was a joy to hear it chime. The one thing that struck me was the great clubhouse feel they had going in their suite at the Beau Rivage. The place was buzzing with energy and full of passionate collectors (and some brought their wives too!).

Some of the wives that were there at the Moser space are themselves passionate collectors.

Women can be serious watch aficionados too!

Agree that the Moser suite was a fun space during GWD.
