SX150, very nice.
I had a '65 TV175, a 'Mod' in West London in the 60's, happy days.
I think I was wearing an 'Accurist' in those days. Haha!

Great thread! I grew up in the 80's and have loved Rolex ever since I was in middle school. I remember looking at the current models in the 80's and some of these pics really bring back the memories! I actually went into an AD when I was a kid and the saleslady gave me a catalog. I looked at that catalog so much, the pages started falling apart and I held it together with a rubber band. For some reason in that lineup, it was always the two tone GMT Master with the brown dial and Jubilee bracelet that was my favorite. I still love that watch and maybe someday I'll own one! :)

Mod in the 80’s. Lol. Just returned from Euro Lambretta Jamboree in Northern Spain. Brilliant. Left my SD at home though.

Several of my friends dads had YG DD's. I didn't know anything about them then, except I probably knew they were expensive. If I were buying a watch based on my experience during that time it would be a YG DD.

That is indeed a fine looking watch. Although I’d knock off the cyclops.

For those of us growing up in the 70s/80s, Magnum PI was huge. This was my introduction to the BLRO GMT.

Took me over 30 years but I finally got one. :)

I bought my first submariner date in 1986 for $1600.00. I thought that was too much money for a watch so I returned it.

Loved that show! And the watch. This is my current 1675 circa 1968. Have a hooked 7 date wheel inbound so it will be correct.

Oh, if I could only go back! Heuer Autavia, or a Regatta. When I think of the Rolex I have had or passed on it makes me shutter
