Is there any difference in the steel grade quality between Rolex and Tudor watches? Not so much todays models but with the older Tudors.

There is a Tudor day date in classifieds right now.
It has a folded jubilee bracelet.

Will a standard oyster bracelet fit that watch?
Are there any difference between the end links?

Tudor Watches

I have a Tudor Chronograph and I want to know if it was built when Rolex and Tudor were still affiliated. Basically want to know if I can call it a Rolex Tudor. It has an 18K SS band and a serial number on the back stick on label is 71xxx.

Rolex and Tudor have been and will always be affiliated. Reading the entire thread will shed all the light you need. So call your Tudor a Tudor and say it loud and proud!

Michael,
If I'm even remotely responsible for that beauty landing on your wrist I couldn't be happier. Unless, of course, it was on my wrist.

Tudors are really picking up the game. the recent releases are incredible IMO. :)
Can't wait to get a Black bay on my wrist.

here's my pretty uncommon 79260 for reference.
Really resembles the older Big blocks 90%, but with the rounded sides of the 79260.
also has the brushed lugs unlike the more common 79260.

Wanted to throw mine in. I just saw the 2010 post from David that said he was considering purchasing a Tudor. I guess that was the beginning for his great collection.

I'd like a vintage blue snowflake. They are like Rolex, but not Rolex.

Some great looking Tudors there and I love the chronographs. Didn't know much about the Tudor range so a nice bit of history, thanks for the read

1966

I learned about the Tudor brand through this forum, and I was lucky enough to find a vintage tudor- 1966 year, model Submariner 7928.

In my opinion this watch is a must have for any Rolex Submariner fan/owner...

Every collection should have at least 1 Tudor.

There is nothing wrong with ETA movements. My Breitling Steelfish, ETA 2824-2, has always kept better time than my 16610.
