Nice.
I have two older Everest rolls that I love, but have found their newer ones to be lacking. I actually just returned one of their four watch rolls because the individual pillows would not stay securely in their spaces. The pillows slid in and out too easily and would actually fall out if the case was slightly tilted. The pillows themselves were also way stiffer than expected. I actually called them to ask about it and they said they did some small redesigns recently and others have had similar issues. I ultimately retuned it for a full refund. Have carapaz and bosphorus too, both are good alternatives. Anyway, like I said, I’ve always liked Everest and hope my case was an isolated one and they’ve worked it out. Having researched most of the popular brands of leather Watch Rolls … I wish they put some padding in the upper / over the top wrap of the watch case, to protect watches a little better, in case something is laid on top of them.
And based on some of these stories about the watches moving around … I like the brands wear the pillow snaps (locks) in versus slides in. Does anyone build one of these ??? |

The Watch Stand ones are snaps but grievously overpriced. So too the Bosphorus I believe. The problem with snaps is that you can't just slide one watch out at a time, and there's the issue of unneeded metal. Many prefer the rail system so long as the cushions fit in snugly. After much research I think Carapaz or Everest is the way to go if you want the quality materials. Interestingly, the Carapaz guy designed both and both come from the same manufacturer.

I have had 1 2 and 3….I actually highly suggest you stick with the 2! 2 is perfect for traveling, one for adventure and one for dress. No trip really ever calls for more and you’re not lugging around 3 expensive pieces as opposed to 2. Additionally if these double up as storage at your house, just grab 2 x 2. Anyhow, just food for thought! Quote:

If you have two in the roll you are probably traveling with three. Think about it.

I don’t own a Bosphorus but i do follow them on social media and they post videos all the time and all their products are hand made from start to finish! Looks like excellent quality to me. I would like to buy the Ostrich 3 roll one day.

I think it all comes down to whether you prefer the rail or snap system.
