Love the pics. Too many watches, too little money.

Looks great on you- what size is your wrist? How do you find the thickness after daily wear ?

I recently met another who has a unique Optimum, 1 of 1 I guess you could say, with a mother of pearl dial that the boutique made for him... and it was gorgeous!

Thanks. Agreed the steel is a nice variant and in theory a lower price would be associated but as with many desirable pieces, steel is often associated with exclusivity and a higher price.

It was a rare opportunity to capture this steel resonance. to date I have only seen 3 offered as a stand alone piece from the set of 5.

That’s maybe the best shot I’ve seen of the CB

I still have a thing for the more complex journes though. Optimum, resonance, new chrono

Beautiful. It really is one of the most hardest yet rewarding pieces to photograph IMO. That dial is something very special.

Speaking of complicated Journe’s
I tried on a very early tourbillon and was quite shocked at how I was mesmerized by the movement on the dial.

Thank you, Truth be told it is very difficult to capture without a bit of post production.

I can only imagine! I admit I’m not huge on the idea of a tourb but it’s so journe and he does them so well.

I spent a bit of time with the split second chrono the other day. I was impressed and think I might have fallen in love a little. I haven’t thought of shuffling my collection around in a while but this one has me thinking. I haven’t seen this reference talked about here...

I thought I was the only one to like the yellow linesport. Only wish it stayed at 42 and came with a rubber strap. Plus I don't have the money for it.
