Also, the adjustment only allows for about 2mm (if it’s the same amount as the 3861 bracelet). Trust me, I’ve thought of it. |

For me, seeing it in person changed EVERYTHING. With the gray-blue, the domed crystal, those hands and the EW bracelet, the whole package comes together beautifully, including the lume color. The sunburst of the dial is very subtle and not very noticeable, but it is there. A very chic and elegant sports watch dripping with history and featuring Omega’s modern movement excellence. I’m a fan. The micro-adjustment clasp is a bonus. Would I have preferred the look of the 321’s clasp and exhibition back? Yes…. But those quibbles don’t turn me off. YMMV. |

Another new version of a special version? I thought the previous fois with the leather strap was the one? Is this a trick to sell something at Omega? Dont know about this one. Will they come with an even more correct special version in 5 years?

It is most definitely an attempt by Omega to get you to by something. A trick? That’s funny. They likely will come out with an updated version in the future in an attempt to *gasp* sell more products. Would you prefer they let the current collection become stale and then cease operations entirely? Absolutely bizarre line of thinking.

Would have been better I think to make one period correct version, and leave it at that. But no offense to Omega. They made/make great watches.

Here's a few of my EW321 for comparison. I think a lot of people will go for this new FOIS instead of the EW as a cheaper alternative although I do think the EW is a league above.

I'm probably going to fall into that category since I've been on "the list" at my OB for 3 years now. I have the 2012 FOIS already but this one looks nicer. |

The boutique (boutique, not AD) in Paris told me that without any spend history with them I have zero chance of getting a 321. That kind of attitude is a big turn off for me…. Luckily, the new FOIS is a stunning Speedmaster. Setting aside the 321’s glorious movement and nice clasp, I might prefer the FOIS anyway. We’ll see… |

I am going to see this FOIS piece tomorrow and secure one for myself.
Really like the vintage look, different vibe than a regular Professional Speedmaster. the history is also cool. Omega reminds me a lot of Gibson and Fender guitar recreating coveted guitars of the past in the modern time. Its a business and marketing sells. |

I have the 321 and this is stupidly similar but I can't say no, I think they did a fantastic job with it. Trying to find time to go into the O.B as they say they have one for me.

I’m a Rolex guy who has a soft spot for the Speedmaster, but just haven’t bought one yet. Waitlisted for Ed White 321 and silver snoopy, now this one appears and I think I’m gonna buy it.

If I didn’t own a EW 321 already, I would be at my OB purchasing this new release. Beautiful timepiece.

I love it....don't know if people caught this...but Omega etched their logo on the sapphire "dome" crystal of the new FOIS like they do on the Hesalite Monwatch...

Will these be readily available to buy, or will their be waitlists? (False scarcity)

Good discussion and some great pictures. I will still probably wait on this one but it is tempting.

I don't know if FOIS will be a regular production piece or not Omega website has it under Anniversary pieces with the Snoopy and 321 so I'm thinking it won't be as available as a regular professional Speedmaster. I am going to the Boutique today to see it and secure one for myself. I expect to have one soon. |
