What is funny, I hardly ever get comments from others about my Rolex watches, but I get several comments a week for the last 6 months on my Pen. The Balck and Gold is really classy.

One thing was I used to always loose pens, cheap pens that I used. Well, by having an expensive pen I never loose it as I make sure I always have it with me. Plan on getting another Montblanc pen and one or two of their mechanical pencils in the future.

I actually bought this Pen on board the Aircraft (United), from their ON Board Duty Free, while on a Flight to Thailand. Very good price on the Plane!
I have two: a fountain pen and a ball point, along with a bunch of others.

i use a MB Rollerball Meisterstuck for work on a daily basis. Once you use a MB theres no going back to ordinary pens.

Just like theres no going back to other watches when u get ur first Rolex :D

I have the classic Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen as well as a Pelikan Souverän. I love them both, but once I joined the Air Force, they wouldn't fit in the pen pocket on my flight suit, so they spend more time sitting in the safe instead of actually being used.

Nice! My 2 year old is showing a lot of interest. As I got my love of pens from watching my dad with his fountain pen I dear the poor sprog is a lost cause

I own several Montbkanc’s, like the 1999 silver, red gold, and MOP star, and the 2006? 100 year anniversary silver/granite/diamond star LE’s, Ramses, Nikolai, etc. I also own several Waterman’s, and Namiki Impressions. All ballpoints.

I have owned Montblanc pens since the day I bought my first one for 20 DM at the duty free in the airport in Cologne in the mid 80s.
For everyday use, I prefer the ball points and roller balls.

I’ve had a number of Montblanc pens over the years. Ended up selling them on eBay from a lack of use.

My wife bought my a Starwalker ballpoint a few years back (8 ish lol) and I just recently started using it. Really enjoy a nice pen - the weight and presence.

Today I order a Legrand Rollerball Black w Platinum and a Rollerball M in Black.

Really looking forward to these - the ballpoint is great but just doesn’t write with the presence I’d like it to. Hoping the rollerball will do the trick.

Hopefully I’ll have them deliveries on Tuesday. Pics to follow!

Wow! Just got the pens in the mail and they are spectacular. The Legrand is perfect in size as well as the M. The rollerball was definitely the move - the presence is so much more there than the ballpoint.

Really looking forward to years of use out of these - in a disposable society it’s nice to have pieces that will stand the rest of time.

I bought a Montblanc Meisterstuck 145 Classique, Black with platinum trim, fine nib fountain pen this summer in Germany.

It matches my Rolex Batman quite well.

Mine came with a converter, but I just use ink cartridges. Easier for me when I travel.

I like fountains only.

I can still use them at work.

Here are a few of my favourites. Most will recognize the WE’s

They're great, but rather overrated.
There are other brands just as good.

That may be true, but over the last 40 years I have collected MB pens as well as others and nothing come close to eliciting the pride of ownership and recognition as does Montblanc.

Marketing may be the factor, but no matter... They just work in every regard.

Sitting on a plane at 30,000 feet and looking across the isle and noticing a busnessman utilizing a nice pen. A MB is instantly recognizable.

Love EM! Kinda like a Rolex!

I have one Classique I purchased here. I love it and use it for my log book and other special things in my home. Slightly afraid to carry it, don't want to loose it.

Who else here on TRF has/likes Montblanc Pens?

Love the MBs. Usually use the rollerball or fineliner. One ball point. Here’s a few.
