Wow, awesome story and of course congratulations!
I, too, am on a quest for a 126711CHNR- what will be my first Rolex.
I've been majorly bummed out hunting one hot ss or another for over three years now, but recently inquired about the Root Beer to a few dealers outside of my usual AD circle and one of them has asked me to come in Thursday in order to see the showroom and discuss the watch in person. He seems like a really great guy that's keen on helping me land my dream watch in time for my 30th birthday later this year. I'm hoping it'll be a scenario similar to that which you depicted in your OP and that I'll have the watch soon after our meeting. We exchanged a few emails and his tone made me feel pretty optimistic, so fingers crossed! Of all the hot models I've chased after in recent years, the CHNR is my absolute favourite and I've 100% decided on that watch. I've never been a fan of TT, however the hue of the rose gold makes it such that it doesn't come off as-- and I hope not to catch flack for this-- gaudy as a yg/ss piece; the Everose and Rolesor seem to work together incredibly well, almost seamlessly so. Too, the ever-changing hue of the brown on the bezel has really attracted me to this particular piece. Again, big congrats on a major score and on finding a cool and genuine AD.
