My maxi 1 patina turn to light cream patina now from very dark creamy tone. The hands turns lighter too. I noticed it very obviously on last two weeks. But mine is a sudden change, I didn't wear it very often as I rotate regularly with other watches Of cos the seller is one of the top guy that I have no worries 6 weeks ago Pics taken this morning Although pics can't do justice, but I saw the dramatic change from dark patina to light in flesh. Any opinion that what shd I do? Continued to wear it or place it in safe and let's say for three mths and see whether it chance back to dark patina? Would love to hear from all... Many thanks! Ben |

Just keep wearing and enjoying it, Bro - same happened on my RED, but I was glad, actually. I doubt it would darken again if you stored it away, plus - what's the point?
Cream looks awesome. |

I've not heard of a case in point where a dial gained, lost/faded and regained patination again. You could try, but a shame to lock it away just for that. Sun/UV fades most things anyway. Cheers! |

Hey Karl could you link me to your original thread about your Red patina. I would love to see the color change.

Anyway - here's the watch as I bought it (photos by Eric Ku), taken a few days before I got it. The second shot shows it still with the original crystal on, (which I still have). I took the last one, a couple of days after getting it. You've seen enough recent ones all over the place to see how it has changed since May 2012. It changed significantly after only a few weeks in that summer. |

[QUOTE=Vincent65;4855835]I didn't do a thread about it myself, but I've talked about it in other similar threads, and posted pictures, of course. I don't recall which specific threads, sorry.

Absolutely amazing sub set. |

Yes, I like how it transforms the look completely. Good to have both, I think. I'll always keep the original, of course, and it's in great condition for its age, and a lovely FF, just like the faded one (same period). |
