The datejust 41 is 39.5mm

It may be 39.5 but it definitely feels and looks like a 41mm.

Despite the measurements 39.5, the DJ 41 has an overall larger lug to lug and case presence - it wears like a 41 and it’s hard to argue otherwise. Rolex doesn’t call it 41 for nothing.

Ohh, how gorgeous is that? Each time I see a DJ reference or configuration I say to myself that's the one. Now, seeing yours, I'm saying it again :-)

I understand guys now prefer the 41mm but this 36 is fits so nicely on my 7.2” wrist. Love the way the color changes depending on lighting.

Cheers,

That is absolutely beautiful and fits you perfectly IMO. Would be my DJ pick for sure!

I have just purchased a 36mm Explorer 124270… I’m loving the comfort and subtlety of the size. I don’t think I would go bigger for an everyday runner!

Making a comeback?

I believe it is the most sold Rolex ever.

I don’t think there’s a bandwagon, people are refining their taste and 36mm on the DJ, OP and Explorer have always been perfect.

A beautiful, classic, Rolex. My 36mm white dial DateJust, gets more wrist time than my SS Submariner Date, and 39 OP white dial.

Congrats OP!

But my thoughts (6.75 inch wrist)- every time I try on a 36mm Rolex thinking “this is the time it will seem like a great size”, it just
Looks too small. This is the way it’s been for years for me. Daytona (essentially 39mm) to me is perfect size for my wrist , and I hope they Rolex adds 38 or 39mm watches to their future offerings (side note, just love my BB58).

I’m loving the silver dial with lume. I’ve ordered the white Roman numerals DJ36, now not sure what to do!
