Bought my first Rolex at 18. A two tone Datejust on Jubilee. At the time, I thought it was the most amazing watch on the planet. In many regards, I still do.

My first Rolex was a 36 mm Datejust with blue stick dial that I bought at AH Riise on the island of St. Thomas when I was 68. I tired of the blue dial after a couple years and traded it toward a 36 mm RG/SS DJ for my wife. She still has the same DJ with black MOP diamond dial today while I've bought and sold a few. I can't seem to settle on one "forever" watch.

Took me a long time 46, White Daytona 116500, I never liked the silver bezel on the previous models and the 6263 which I loved as a kid was discontinued before I was an adult and then was out of my reach. so too about 28 years for them to put the black bezel back on a Daytona for me to buy.

First Rolex at 24 going on 25. Purchased for my upcoming birthday but, it came in at record time. Ended up pulling the trigger about a month before the big day.

57 years old when my Rolex addiction started--a 2017 Submariner. Have since added a 2019 GMT II Batman and Deep Sea James Cameron today. Still waiting for the elusive Pepsi on jubilee.

I was 24 or 25. My first Rolex was close to yours, I bought a BNIB from an AD, 116233. I went in to buy a 116610LN, tried on the 116233 and it was so comfy, I went with it.

Mine are not that much old and have been changing models around during the last couple of years. My oldest is a 10yo 16610LV but I am not the first owner anyway
I met a business partner last week from US, he has a 16610LN that he purchased 27 years back for $1400!! He wanted a Daytona but they were sold for $3000 at the time and he thought it’s too much to spend for a watch back then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

26 years old , My first Rolex watch ! Which one was your first one and how old were y
I was finally able to pick up my first Rolex last month at the age of 37. I’ve always wanted one and it’s been a long road to get to this place financially, but super stoked that I was finally able to do it!

First Rolex was a 6694 given to me on my 18th Birthday by my Grandmother. Still have it and it’s working perfectly after 40 years
