Thank you for the in depth explanation, especially the descriptions of what the names are for the parts- it is very confusing. I was just about to pull the trigger on the Sub No Date because I thought it was the smallest. Now I am not sure what one to get until I try them all on. I am leaning towards the SD now that I heard what you have to say about it. I also like the fact that it doesn't have the cyclops thing over the date. I am sure I would break that off in no time. I am looking for a daily wearer... and I am not very graceful, so it is going to get beat up. My only other concern is wearing it under a long sleeve shirt (Although I rarely wear long sleeve shirts). You have been Very helpful!!
The one watch that I think would be perfect they don't make (I love the Rosegold YM, but want it in Stainless Steel).

Both the Sub models are exactly the same in size. The only difference ofcourse are the date function and the cyclops on the Date version.
For the long sleeve shirt issue, the Sea Dweller does lay higher on the wrist so that could be less comfortable with a tight long sleeve.
For daily wearers all three are perfectly able to do just that and all three of them are known for their robustness, so no need to be graceful all the time.
If after trying them on the cyclops is a big thing for you (and the date function, or the lack of it isn't) you could save a bunch of cash getting the Sub No Date.
Good luck and let me know on what you will decide when the time comes!

Great choice, love the smaller lugs on SD4K! Wear it in good health.
I have even smaller wrists and had to go Daytona. I'm afraid your two years of waiting will pale in comparison. Almost one year and counting today.. plus the 6 months before spent procrastinating. But you know what they say: "Good things come to those who wait."

Hi CaputMortuum,
Thanks! Yeah love the smaller lugs too! Daytona is also great, also for smaller wrists! Succes with that one, it's so hard to get....
