I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the 1016 Explorer. A fabulous under the radar watch, oozing class.

Before the restoration, the dial still had the radium lume which was badly decayed. I had the dial professionally cleaned of the existing radium and relumed with Super Luminova. The original hands were rusted beyond repair and were replaced with new ones lumed with Super Luminova.

I was thinking about this today, and I realized that if I can only have one watch, it's going to be my G-Shock 5610.

This!!! Before I could afford any luxury watch I would drool over these online. Probably late 90’s early 00’s. And the price then…. Hindsight, eh? I suppose I could have bought one instead of the 5 guitars I had but playing was my life. Unfortunately due to my disability I haven’t been able to play for about 10 years now. I still don’t think I’d trade the years I did play for the watch though. Still, a one and only vintage would be this one!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Beautiful! I got a 114270 for my 40th birthday a couple years ago and I was very torn between that and the 14720. The ones that have developed that slightly creamy looking lume are gorgeous. Ultimately I decided to go a bit newer so I didn’t have to worry about Rolex denying service for quite a while longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Out of my collection I’d have to keep my 1680 Red. I limit the collection to 10 watches and don’t keep anything that doesn’t get worn. Close second would be my 1665 Great White followed by my matte dial 16750 GMT.
Otherwise a 6263 like Aaron’s (Swish77). Great piece and the condition looks fantastic in the pictures. Your photos make me want to sell a few watches to buy one. |

If I was going vintage I’d probably go for a Sea dweller or GMT Master of some description.

If I can have a second stab after my much craved Milgauss 6541, its a Jean Claude Killy...a so cool and subtle chrono....
