Thanks.

And also due to the bezel swap option it's "three watches" in one.

You can't do that on modern versions.

Thanks, all. Much appreciated.

This review gets constant views through Google search. I wrote it quite a few years ago but it became surprisingly popular. After the review the prices have increased maybe 100%. That's just insane.

After owning both a 91 Pepsi and a 2021 Pepsi, I can say the older has more character

I know I’m really late to the party on this review, but I’ll also add that the polished center links on the newer iterations takes away from the tool character of this watch. If folks wanted something more dressy, then opt for the jubilee.

Fantastic review ! Thank you
I will certainly add this one in the rotating order once it’s back to “reasonable” again…

I agree. The new ones are nice but the old ones are true classics.

Looking for a 1675/16750 but not for today's prices. They're mad.

For me the gold and polished parts on sports watches are a no-no.

Blue TT Sub is still amazing though.

This review has now 50.000 views on WordPress. I'm quite amazed. Well it's not that much as it's 7 years old writeup but still. Never thought it'd reach that much hits.

Funny that the prices were around 6000 euros back in 2017 and I thought they were in a bubble. I have no idea what they are now but I would think a little more than that. Crazy.

Sorry I missed this thread when it originally started.

Great review of an all-time classic and the most versatile reference Rolex will ever produce.

Great write up, my first Rolex was a 5 digit "Fat Lady" I bought in the mid-90's, no-one wanted them then and I think I paid $1675 for a 1987.5 16760 - still have the watch and it would be the very last one I sold if I had to liquidate the collection. As has been shown it really is like owning 6 different watches if you have all 3 bezel inserts and both bracelets - hands down my most versatile Rolex out there, even today.
