I was wavering between the light blue vs. purple. Even though I liked the green, I had made my pledge that I will wait for a purple (which seems to be the next color du jour after green). I liked it on the black strap, thinking the purple on purple is a bit much, but may add that later since Steven is doing it.

Note that the email said that these will later also be offered for general orders, so they aren’t limited editions like the others. But I still think you should have received the email if you signed up. Check the junk/spam folder perhaps.

I like that I was able to order one but generally not a big fan when an LE turns into a production watch. Wonder if the email went to those who clicked the waitlist link rather than the general mailing list link.

I just put in my deposit for a salmon dial with titanium bracelet. I specifically contacted CW to express my interest in Bel Canto and got a response about the pending new releases. I suspect if you never got that email on 13th December you weren't on the specific "Bel Canto EOI" email list.

It’s rose, not salmon, btw.
Anyone considering simple black dial? |

Actually you are correct. It was the waitlist signup previously that triggered this latest email, as opposed to general email list. And your point is well taken about LE releases. But they did do two previous limited releases, and at least this time they didn’t release the same colors.

You can call it whatever you want - my roses don't look like that colour :-)

Got the email, was a tough call, but went with Cielo Colour and Camel Vacona Leather.
Contemplated the black dial, purple was nice, came down to Salmon or the Blue, went with my gut, should be lots of strap options to look at with that dial colour. Behold! |

I figure there will be tons of great strap options for this watch, already looking at some of the bespoke makers. Very excited for this piece, the thought of a beautiful chime every hour is enchanting, the wait and anticipation is going to be wonderful! Congratulations on yours as well..... edited to add: Just watched the video from Watchfinder, and until mentioned, didn't notice as he points out - no "branding" on the dial, only the logo on the crown, so the watch face itself is pristine and clean, and that's Bel Canto i.e, "sounds good" :-) |

Would the +/- 20sec/day bother anyone? I placed the deposit because i like the design and am unlikely to pay big money for another chiming type complications in the future
Figure I have a few months to decide if I want to cancel the deposit anyways. |

Is that what we can expect for accuracy? That’s a bit disappointing along with the low power reserve.

I was also strongly contemplating the Cielo, before going purple. But this picture and points about strap options has me questioning my decision

I think metal is a bit odd for a watch like this…but I really like Christopher Ward bracelets so couldn’t resist. Can’t wait. |

Depending on how she is after a week or two on the wrist, i may re-regulate it. Easy to do and 'free' too

I can't believe that I'm such a sucker. I just bought a light blue one on a Ti bracelet. I've been fighting this since they were first released.

I ordered one during the presale, but ultimately ended up canceling. First I couldn't decide on color. I could see the case for each, but I wasn't totally in love with any of them. Obviously a cool watch, but I realized I would probably never wear it. Oh well!

You do highlight a good point for me at least, which is to ask if I’ll actually wear it enough to justify the cost, even if modest. |

Have to say I’m very impressed with mine, arrived 23rd and I wore it solely over Christmas and New Year - great piece and punches much higher than it’s price point suggests.

I’d wear it once and it might look cool in the box, but just don’t see myself wearing it (probably within the context of my greater collection). But that’s solely my opinion! |
