The reality is that saturation diving has always been pretty uncommon and specialized. Commercial divers time is monitored as closely as an astronauts and with decompression schedules lasting days or even a week, no one is monitoring that on a rotating bezel... Much of their work has been taken over by surface controlled ROV's as well. |

Great picture, my Dad went to Valletta regularly in the 50’s & early 60’s when he was a Hydrographic Surveyor in the RN. We went there on holiday in 77/78 when I was a kid and he bought his 6426 there which I remember him buying and I have it now.
