Go on try on the TT Daytonas, they are pretty much everywhere. It's not the same look but you will get the feel of the watch on your wrist. In So Cal and Vegas every AD I would go to never had one on display and even asking about them got laughs and the same old line of how rare they are to get. When you are ready to buy and they know it the one you want will appear. I promise.

I went to three ADs in Dallas before I could even get one to order one for me.... At one I even wrote out a check for the full amount and was told we cant sell you one unless you have purchased "several" other watches from us.

When I found an AD that would order one for me I was told it would be a 2-3 month wait, but they could bump me up in line if I wanted to buy a PM Rolex as well.

the_Hunter, did you get it? And you are right too, my family has purchased two Rolex watches from the AD in the last few months. And I bought my GMT II from them as well. I'm sure that helped. Right place at the right time also helps. Where I bought my Daytona they actually had the white and black. Both sold in one day.
