at the end of the day, there's only a limited number of end users who would wear a brightly colored dial. when that demand is sated, and the hype dissipates, the prices of these things will drop like rocks...

I should have paid more attention to the OP 39s. I don't care for the new OPs with the double markers at 3, 6, and 9.

I’ve always liked the yellow on in 36. Didn’t realize a hype existed until I decided I wanted one.

Not really a fan of this one with or without hype at any price.. I would only purchase this one if my wife wanted a new watch and this was the one she happened to pick.

Yes. It’s the same type of “ something different” in the OP41 Turquoise that also had me gravitate to ( and purchase) the Milguass GV with its orange lightning bolt seconds hand when it came out.

Not a chance!

Maybe for my wife or daughter, but only at retail.

An OP for today’s grey market price is pure insanity!!!

Cheers

Pre-hype I would not have even considered the turquoise blue OP. But the hype definitely helped me to notice the watch, and the more I noticed it, the more it grew on me. If the hype disappeared all of a sudden turning this watch into a “sleeper” timepiece, I would still buy it.

I wasn’t in a strong position to ask for any of the OPs because I was fully invested on a grail. I received that grail in November 2021. Despite that, I’m not sure I would’ve asked for one for myself. Beautiful pieces, but not quite for me.

I did however, request a yellow one for a family member and we’re still waiting. They way things are moving we may never get it!

Would You Buy a Turquoise/Tiffany OP at MSRP If There Was No Hype?

Personally, turquoise was the only color I liked when the new OP was released but other than “I like that color”, no interest, in comparison with me rather owning a slew of other Rolex watches before this one.

Still no real interest, other than me wishing I could’ve made 25k on it overnight had I known lol. I’ve seen it in person on a dealer’s wrist here in Denver at one of the larger jewelry stores. Cool watch and all but IMO the dial is HUGE. Like, too big.

Everyone’s taste is different but if you saw one in person you’d know what I mean.

To each their own!

No. I would take the silver one. I would pass on any of the colors and instead apply that money towards a different watch.

It is the perfect watch for girlfriend, wife or daughter (or all the above haha).
The pink one too.
I also appreciate a Hermes bag, but I don't personally want to wear one.

NO. But I would definitely consider the silver dial OP36. For me, that's the one to have from the OP family.

I had the option of buying any of the OP 41’s when they were announced. I chose the yellow OP 41 because that color stood out for me. I hate when people call it Tiffany blue because it is actually Tiffany Green and not blue.

Most people who post the Turquoise on forums or Instagram, they edit the contrast and saturation levels to make it appear slightly more vivid than it really is in real life. Yellow dial does not need any of that. It is bold and fun at the same time.

Yes most definitely I ordered one on launch day and was lucky enough to pick it up September just gone. I loved it as soon as I saw it on release day way before there was any hint of it being a hit I had already parted with my deposit money and was actually advised by the AD that he thought it would be a flop.

Now would I pay £20,000 for it no but then I personally wouldn’t pay £20,000 for a Daytona or Hulk etc.

However here’s the part that is really nuts I’ve had 2 offers this weekend both over £20,000 for it and haven’t sold it I just can’t bring myself to part with it I know it’s mad but it’s my favourite watch by far
