The older generation tends to offer unstated but your dad seems to be a bit different. 41 would be a great look considering what he's been wearing your whole life.

Make sure the blue dial is right for him. As long as his eyes are working fine, or won't be a problem but if he's already got any issues with his eyesight, you'll want to shift your focus on something that offers him the best contrast.

You're doing a really nice thing, buying your father his first luxury timepiece. Just remember that you're buying it for him and want it to match his taste, not yours.
