If you want the Sky D on OF I'd put an order in with an AD, sit back and wait and you will probably get one in time at list price. Brand new. Meanwhile the other pieces are gold bricks...money in the bank that will hold/increase in value and can be sold at any time. Green sub is worth 20+K, 2 tone sub 15-17, and red 43 Sea Dweller 17K. You already have a piece on Oyster flex and IMO a rubber band is ....well it's just rubber. No comparison in value to PM bracelet. So if the SD had a gold bracelet then we'd be talking but to trade 3 valuable pieces for a piece on rubber? No way. BTW I have a blue SD on jubilee and it's great but it's not a beater that's for sure. You don't want to wear it every day and bang up that gold bezel. The 3 pieces you have give you much more versatility and will not damage as easy. So you came on here asking for opinions and that one is mine but yours is the only one that matters right? I think that most people would say that if you make this deal ....looking back in 10 years you will probably wish you had not and in telling you that we are trying to help you.

I'd do it in a heartbeat the Skydweller is so amazing!
However, my one recommendation would be to hold on to the LV if able. 1 steel, 2 PM collection would be perfect and give you a lot more versatility. |

Great response and that sounds very sensible! Unfortunately this isn’t a sensible hobby! Few mulled wines over Xmas to think it over! I will probably wait until The price increase hits anyway as they are going up. I’ve always liked rubber straps on watches. I don’t wear suits to work and they seem to be so much more comfortable. Adding the glidelock onto it has really got me interested. I also find the subs a touch small. I am on the list and I have a very good relationship so I may just wait it out. Thanks for the response and have a good Xmas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It’s my least favourite of the four weirdly! The ultimate hype watch for me. Find it quite petit and a bit boring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They go for about $10k above retail but they don’t sell fast. It’s an acquired taste as you can see from the majority of comments! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

In that case I'd go for it but keep the one steel that speaks the most to you. Skydweller in PM can be the pinnacle of any Rolex collection.

I would say keep the LV, swap the other 2 plus a little cash for the SKD. Perfect watch combo.

Call me a contrarian, it appears almost everyone is a no here but I still say DO IT!
Although this reference works way better on the bracelet for some reason it looks boxy on the oysterflex. |

Absolutely not. Can’t say that three watches you have would be my first choice (I don’t do cyclops or two-tone) but there is nothing about a sky dweller that beats three solid stainless steel Rolex. Not the most appealing design, size and precious metals are for storage in case of the apocalypse.

Plot thickens, we open our presents on Xmas eve and wife just pulled out a brand new air king for me from our dealer.
Not my favourite but probably one for the safe. Merry Xmas everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Always tell a uk lad with the use of mate! Cheers pal. I’m debating it now with a glass of amarone. I’m actually considering swapping the yachtmaster 42 and two tone for it now. Direct swap. Keep the green sub and sd43 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If it was my choice I’d swap the YM42 & the SD43 & keep the green sub & two tone, but I would definitely get the Sky Dweller as I said before it’s a stunning piece especially in that combination on another level, and not many will have one, good luck Happy Christmas & don’t forget to post some pic’s when you get it ha ha.

Just to finish off this thread, went to try it on and as stunning as it is I didn’t really get what it’s for. It’s not dressy with the rubber and the fluted doesn’t make it sporty. Stunning but something that would need to be in a larger collection. One day.
I’m first on the list for a Daytona flex sundust so time to refocus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
