Better off selling it to some poor unsuspecting buyer who isn’t so enlightened by the amazing benefits of a caseback sticker so you can get a new watch and watch in horror as the AD peels it off after taking full payment, but before presenting it to you.

To clarify, I assume you are talking about the older green holographic stickers used on older references, correct? (and not the clear sticker used on current references)

Similar to engraving but can much more easily be updated/changed. There isn't that commitment risk.

I don’t understand why would anyone want a sticker on their case back. I understand that anting to use Films on the rest of the watch but the case back? Am I missing something?

Rings can scratch the caseback when donning or remove the watch especially if you have a tungsten carbide ring. Don’t you get it, people want to keep their watches pristine otherwise they fret over tiny microscopic blemish which devalues the timepiece in their mind.
