I can honestly say that I have never been offered a Rolex watch I did not request.

I have known my SA for over 25 years. I ask for only one watch at a time and he tells me if and when he can get it for me. He never calls me with random stuff.

I've been collecting for over 30 years and these "offers" that aren't desired / solicited is a recent development.

You’d take a two tone sea-dweller?
An AD would be delighted to see you, if that’s the case!

A little over a month ago or so I passed on a 2 tone, rose gold DJ41 with chocolate dial.

I still really like that watch, but now prefer it in 36mm & I spent a bunch of money in the month before the offer & didn't feel it was wise to purchase a $15k I didn't need at that moment in time.

Passed on a 41mm OP Green Dial as was holding out for the celebration dial. One month later called back offering the Celebration.

Was offered the WG Daytona Oyster Flex black dial. 126519LN. This is an amazing watch that I was not in the market for but almost pulled the trigger. Would have if it were the silver dial but 33k is a big spontaneous spend.

I was at an AD yesterday and was offered Coke, tea, coffee, bear and wine! I declined them all but did accept a glass of flat water.

Probably a good idea turning down a bear.

Turned down an Air King this morning, holding out for an OP 36 turquoise dial. Sort of regretting it now.

Blue dial Rolesor Sky-Dweller.

Sometimes timing really sucks.

I passed a two tone YG Sky Dweller jubilee bracelet black dial, at Changi Airport - Singapore , it’s actually beautiful but I’m looking for blue or green dial SS Sky D at the moment

Over the last year I’ve passed on:

1) Pepsi-because I had a large tax outlay upcoming
2) Green bezel sub-I already have a VTNR and they weren’t different enough for me
3) mixed metal Daytona-not really a fan of the mixed metal Daytona

During my recent trip to EU most of the places didn't have inventory, but one AD in France had:
- RG DD40 with a chocolate dial
- WG OF SkyDweller
- WG Submariner
Wasn't interested in any of those so passed.

Also local AD in US had 36 mm DD in Platinum which I was not interested either.
