Patek has the prestige and is more refined, presumably, but the Sky Dweller is a masterpiece in its own right.
If I never intended to do more than wear the watch in my daily affairs and have something that is visibly pleasing and elegant, I'd go with the Patek. If I were truly a world traveler and if I were changing time zones on a regular basis and needed to keep track of other time zones, I'd go with the Sky Dweller in a heartbeat. It may be a flagship piece in precious metal that cost as much as a middle of the road luxury car, but it's as much a tool watch as any Rolex has ever made.

Out of those two, the Skydweller.
But I would go for the the Patek 5726 if you are looking for a calendar in that price range. |

SD without a doubt. Not a fan of that particular PP's look at all.

Love that Patek but I would have to go with the Sky-Dweller.

If it´s to be one of this three
I´d choose patek on the right!
Patek has the prestige and is more refined, presumably, but the Sky Dweller is a masterpiece in its own right. My second Choice will be The Sky

PP is much more refined and elegant, has a day indicator plus moonphase and doesn't look confused.

I love both brands but do not like either of the two watches. My money goes to pick C (hookers and booze).

At that price point, I think PP is the way to go.
I also think the PP is a much more elegant design. |

For an annual calendar I would go with the inventors of the annual Calendar : Patek Phillipe

1. 5980
2. SD 3. 5205 for me. Aesthetically the 5205 doesn't sing to me but I love the dial on the 5980 |

Patek without a doubt! Sure you get more gold with the bracelet, but when dress watches are concerned, leather band just screams class.

I love the Sky Dweller - especially in WG...
But the PP 5205 is growing on me...the extra detail on the outside of the lugs and reverse concave bezel is pretty cool in person! |

None of these for that money... Prefer the 5396, but I understand that this was not your question. ;)
