Are you a TTSD or SSSD, I rather like that red flash on the SS dial.

I’m a TT LN Sub lover, a cousin to your SD. I like the flash of red in the SS as well but the TTSD is special and not often seen in the wild. Cheers to years of enjoyment

Congratulations on purchasing a Rolex from AD.

I’ll never understand these marginalizing comments from people “it’s not as in demand as some references, etc…”

At these price points I’d always willingly pay a slight premium for the Rolex AD option over a grey seller. Always.

Hi, thanks for your input.

Firstly, I am not overly bothered if the watch is readily available or not, totally immaterial to me, I liked the watch, I bought the watch.

Secondly, my buying this watch has nothing whatsoever about me building a relationship with the store. I bought this watch because I liked it, not because it might open a door, I do not need anymore watches I have what I need, if the store contacts me to offer me something then I will consider their offer.

Finally, buying grey, I do not buy secondhand watches, if I'm buying a watch I want a new watch, others may be happy to buy their watches this way and that is fine it is their choice. When I buy a Rolex I'm buying from my local store.

You have your views and I thank you for getting involved.

For some the only true Rolex is a SS model, some will be dismissive of the TT range because they are not pure SS or full precious metal.

Is the TTSD an easily obtainable Rolex, maybe but I don't care.

Is the TTSD available at a below retail price secondhand from a grey dealer, maybe but the watch isn't new so I am not interested.

If people cannot be bothered or just don't want to say well done or congratulations I don't mind, I don't have the time to comment on every thread so I am appreciative of those who do take the time to say well done.

But if your going to take the time to comment and then make the comment negative well that seems pointless, why bother? Just ignore the thread and move on, but no these people believe that they have to put people down just to make themselves feel important. Well it just doesn't work as I have a great watch on my wrist and am very happy.

Excellent result, seems that some TT watches may well be a bit easier to pick up, if this is the case I might have to look at other TT models.

Bingo. I don't see the value in buying someone elses history to save a buck.
Congratulations

Congratulations

I feel exactly the same way about buying grey. It’s fine if you want a used discontinued model watch. Otherwise, I want the AD experience.
