Thanks for writing
Great review and thank you for writing it. You hit all the points that I like about my SDc4000. I came down from a DSSD and this watch is perfect for all the reasons you mentioned. The SDc4000 is going to be the cover story on Watch Time Magazine's April edition (I admit it, I paid the two-bucks to read it early). Great review and thanks!

This story mirrors my situation. I found the SD4000 and after a solid month of wrist time I realize that I have zero desire to add another watch to the rotation. There are other watches that I like (a lot) but nothing that sings to me the way that my SD does. I'm pretty sure it is my WFL as well. Great thread.

Great write up! And great choice on the SD. It's a Sub on steroids, not too much.

Great report! If you're going to do it once it makes sense not to compromise. Cheers!

Gee, thanks for all the kudos!
I'm really indebted to all the knowledgable posters here on TRW for patiently answering my newby questions as I researched the Rolex brand. Sheldon, I'm looking forward to the article. Thanks for the "heads up". |

A great watch to reward yourself. I celebrate with you on your purchase decision and living milestones. This SD4 is certainly a class of its own. |

Wow. Awesome story! I really like the "watch for life" idea, and the SD4K will work perfectly.

Great Choice!
Big fan of the SD! Amazing how many people do not think its a Rolex due to the lack of a cyclops... I like that it flies under the radar still.

WFL Now that's a great abbreviation! We should adopt it here on the forum.
Does a Grail become a WFL very often? Congrats to you from a sixty-something Aussie . Rolexes Rule! |

I started with a GMTII Pepsi ( 1999), traded it for a BLNR, and once the sd4000 was discontinued I picked one up at my local AD, I love them both, such awesome watches. As a footnote, the AD in Syracuse/Dewitt NY as of this writing has a sd4000 NIB for sale if anyone is interested
