Hi GO folks, I was organizing the photographs on my phone and I found the wto shots below. Not the best quality but nice blue on white contrast.

Any new additions out there? Share with us!

I am really happy for you my friend! I look forward to your reveal. Any hint? A 70s?

I actually also added a Glashutte... a GUB Glashutte... but I have not had time to make an incoming thread yet.

Nope not a 70's, my friend Tony bought a 70's chronograph last week. At the moment I have to settle with a nice watch
that I have borrowed from the Glashütte Original factory as I will review later.

A little teaser you can get.

We need some pics of your new one, congrats.

Just a guess: Panograph?

I will post photos soon of the GUB I acquired.

Gorgeous! The 70's line is growing on me.

I recently bought a Spezichron, the 'poor' father of the 70s (at least from the stylistic point of view).

^ That is a wonderful ancestor!

1970s may get bad rap for _some_ fashion, but the decade has given us some excellent design ideas. GO 70s does not disappoint in that regard. Given the second hand prices, I may pick up a blue one too :-)

Given that we cant see your shoes, we'll just have to take your word for it — for all we know, you could be sitting there barefooted.

That GO blue dial is stunning.
I'm hoping to get one in the near future.

Looking forward to see some pics of yours.

Sent my Seventies in for a full service when the bracelet release got jammed since it is 4+ year old with an unknown history. Five months and a free dial replacement later it's back on my wrist.

Lovely photograph, and Watch of course!

Why did they have to replace the dial?

Apparently the feet detached from the dial, which I guess can happen if the watch is abused. As there were no major dings or anything and I was not charged for the replacement. It seems it must have happened during the disassembly process and was deemed to be their fault.

Thankfully, all it cost me was an extra two months of waiting for the dial to be readied, I cringe to think about how much it would have cost me otherwise.

New offerings from GO at Baselworld 2017.

Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar
GO4.jpg

Senator Chronometer Panorama Date
GO3.jpg

Although, it is great to have the perpetual movement now in the Excellence line, I am not too fond of the aesthetics with the small subdial at 12 o'clock. Similarly for the Chronometer... that subdial at 12 o'clock makes the dial busy and unbalanced in my eyes.

And the Seventies Panorama Date disappeared from the new GO website. Not a trace. Does anyone know what's happened to it? Maybe it's being replaced this year with a new model?

Yes very strange. There is a message "More timepieces will follow" but the same message appears under all the collections. I hope it comes back, perhaps it wll be updated? Probably my favourite GO.

Maybe Jocke can ask them when he goes to Basel...

I ask them about the Seventies Panorama Date and it's still in production. If you check the website so at the vintage collection
there is a field at the right side that says more "timepieces will follow" because thay rebuild their site at the moment and not
every model is there. So it will be there again soon.

Thank you, that's kind of a relief :) Although I would have been glad to see the Seventies discontinued and replaced with a slightly smaller version with the same gorgeous dial :)

Glad that they're still making the 70s model. Every time I put mine on, my day gets better.

Saw this Glashutte Original Panomatic Tourbillon XL 41.03.04.04.04 on Govberg Watches (I am not affiliated with the store). I was not familiar with this model. Not sure I like the black and white contrast but surely is a unique design.
