Does Rolex allow one to purchase the bracelet separately if you own this on OF or no?

I'm on the list for the 125618ln, which is OF. It really comes down to how you will use the watch, and the look you prefer. Weight was a consideration for me. I felt that the Daytona on OF would be a much more useable daily for me. And if I am going to pony up 30k - 40k, it had better be a daily piece for me.

You can sort of when the non tires run an extra 11k.

I like the Oysterflex. It's a great blend of classic & modern. Full PM would be too flashy for me to wear often, whereas the OF I'd happily wear daily.

I am OF, every day, all day. Twice on Sunday.

Can't beat a PM Daytona on Oysterflex. I'm biased as I own the yellow gold with champagne dial variant and love it.

Just picked this beauty up from my AD two weeks ago today. This particular configuration was my number one choice for a few reasons:
1) Love the OF. Very comfortable and love the way it complements the black sub dials and the bezel. 2) I absolutely love the ceramic bezel and hate the gold bezel on the bracelet configuration. Prior to getting this watch I had a TT white dial Daytona. The bezel gets scratched by just looking at it wrong. Same goes for the PCL's. The ceramic bezel and OF are just more versatile and robust. 3) Glidelock on the OF. So easy to adjust on the fly for those days when it gets hot out and your wrist swells up a bit. 4) The OF configuration tones down the watch a bit, which I prefer. Others may have differing opinions, which is fine. Just thought I would share mine. |

The only watch I get comments from non watch enthusiasts is my YG OF Daytona. I love the look and feel on my wrist. It definitely has a great wrist presence.
Full PM bracelet is very nice of course but I prefer the variations in color and texture the OF provides. And 1000$ for each link in the bracelet is a lot of money for pure jewelry. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

Not a fan of the oysterflex at all, especially on a PM daytona. If going PM, it would have to be full pm bracelet.

Oyster Flex or Precious Metal Bracelet
I own both a Daytona on OF (116519) and a full YG PM Daytona(116508).
I love both. I do wear the 519 a bit more since it’s more versatile imo and being WG I can wear it just about anywhere compared to a full YG and relatively loud 508 (PN dial). That said, the 508 does unquestionably feel more special and it is the last watch in my collection I will ever sell. The 508 gives me the full PM experience that the OF does not. If this is your first PM, I’d definitely go full PM. OF is great in a collection and as a 2nd+ PM watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Oysterflex is more versatile. Also, In this climate wearing a full rose-gold watch is not worth the issue imo.

I've had the pleasure of wearing full PM daytona rose gold and oyster flex... Both wear beautifully.
I think the decision comes down to a few things -- 1. Do you prefer the ceramic bezel (for me it was a clear yes) 2. Do you want a more sporty look or a dressier look? (For me, daytona is a sport watch. I'm not trying to dress it up) 3. Glide Lock is definitely great... But so is easy link, so don't let that sway you OF is the clear winner for me |

Go full PM bracelet if you can. You can always get the Oysterflex after.
