If not mistaken, Rolex hardly had anti-reflective coating.
Does this coating apply to inside only? Or both sides? I asked several AD, they had no clue. On the other hand, how could one really tell from the look? |

I just got one today; I surprisingly (I wasn't quite taken by the original pictures) fell for it on first sight. While the pictures presented here are superb, they do not render justice to the shade of green of the watch. 'In the flesh', the green is richer and darker than is suggested by the pictures.

I think the watch is stunning. I wish I could rationalize spending the scratch.

Classic design, great watch but why oh why the color green. Green is the mariners bad luck color so its hardly an appropriate hue for a watch designed for the sea is it?

The WG model is actually more exclusive and expensive than the yellow gold model. (There are 5 models (SS in black or green dial, Two Tone with blue dial, YG with black dial and white gold with blue dial). As for the green dial........well green is the corporate colour of Rolex. Personally I will never wear a green coloured dial.

I was just looking at this ... I wish they would have kept the old font on the dial (the tight 1000ft=300m with the large f). It is a pretty small detail but it looks really cool to me.
This is by far my favorite watch (within my budget of course).
