Steve, you are definitely more than welcome to come. Don't know how you slipped through the cracks considering what an integral part of the forum you are. Jen will hopefully get more details. Date will be June 6th.

yeah come on Steve! I know you would really appreciate a particular vintage piece Scott has over there right now. Hint: He isn't "guarded" in showing his sub!

Ok everyone, the address to Orlando Watch Co. is as follows:

Orlando Watch Company
326 Park Avenue North Winter Park, FL 32789
407.975.9137

PM me if anyone wants some recommendations on places to stay. I know sometimes hotels are nice but can be in sketchy areas so I'll help steer you in the right direction. Lake Buena Vista isn't bad, but it is about a 20 min drive to Winter Park from there. There are a couple places downtown Orlando that are pretty nice and if you would like 5 star, I would recommend The Boheme Downtown for all you ballers out there!

Do we have a time for when to be there? Is catered dinner still in the cards?

Thanks for the address!

Hey David.

Not too many details yet, but it looks like we'll be getting together sometime in the late afternoon/early evening in Winter Park on June 6th. I'll keep the thread posted with updates! I hope you can come!

Ok guys, I just spoke with Scott at Orlando Watch Co. He is on board with everything with one slight problem. June 6th he is hosting a couple party's around the area so that may not work best with him. He asked me to get everyone's thoughts on possibly pushing it back one week to the 13th (he also said next weekend would work well but I figured it was too short of notice). Here is what he is offering: There is a Bistro within 30 feet of his store across from a courtyard (that we can use for gathering). He would provide some appetizer platters and some giveaways (just couldn't specify from what company's yet). This would be a good thing as we could eat, drink, and mingle without having to worry about driving to another location. Also, he has asked what everyone was into (how could I answer that?). I pretty much told him a little about everyone who has responded and how we are all Rolex fanatics that appreciate vintage and new pieces to look/talk about. Keep in mind that he also said if June 6 was to hard to deviate from that he may be able to work around his schedule, however he needs to know sooner rather than later. He sounded very excited on the phone about meeting everyone and bringing some rather rare pieces into his store from other clients (I'm not sure who, but I know of one that has quite the extensive rare submariner collection including black out's). So, in short...let me know if the 13th would work with everyone and we could do the whole kit and caboodle there and after I could show you guys possible the worlds most elaborate bathroom @ Luma (a bar) where if you haven't been there, I highly recommend it for people watching. It really can be quite humorous watching the cougars prowl and the martini's fly! Steve, keep your hands off the cougars, they bite!

edit: On a side note, if your looking for something to add to your watch, He DOES have a Rolex parts acct. and can access anything you need.

One last thing: For those of you bringing friends, family's, GF/BF's, wives, etc.. Here is an About.com link to Park Ave. that shows some of the different stores on the strip. It really is a place for everyone, so don't worry about someone being left out on an island if watches aren't their thing.

Jen, can you send a PM to the same folks about what date works best?

Art, if we end up doing the 6th...think you could talk Scott into it? I know you know him way better than I.
