Thx! So I guess buying OF watches involves some additional purchases unless you get lucky.

I never once tried on a 116655 at an AD that even remotely fit correctly. |

Sorry, I was incredibly unclear. What I meant is that if you buy a used watch with OF, you are likely to have to replace one or both straps unless you get lucky. I can't imagine that Rolex would make you trade in a perfect condition OF strap and pay for a new one. Well, I can imagine Rolex doing that but hopefully not. Either way, your DayC looks great on it! Yes, preowned watches, and/or brand new pieces in stock from trusted sellers should be checked for the correct size before commitment. I think RSC might give you reasonable pricing for new pieces based on a "trade in" deal. That helps a little. Some trusted sellers, might be able to help you get the right pieces before they sell you the watch too. |

On a rubber strap it's simply not worth 27k to me, especially when you can set up a 116500 like this. |

Wow thatsa really nice look! I think that dial and bezel combo is way better than the Rolex offerings with the Oysterflex...
Congrat's on a job well done !

Looks good
But for reference to who posted about fitting the RB alternative strap that is designed for the clasp as fitted to the leather strap version which is different to the bracelet style clasp which the ousterflex shares with the bracelet models. |

Hi everyone
I’m going to get a 116500, and i’d like to put it on Oysterflex. My question is... given that i need the end links and that i’d use the original clasp, if i use the original Rolex sizing chart for Oysterflex gold Daytonas, as if i were trying to find the size for a regular Oysterflex Gold Daytona, then... will them in that size be ok when installed on 116500 with aftermarket end links?

The above link is what members on here are using for their end links that work the best - purchase the 116520 Daytona ones, they will fit the 116500.

I'd love to get a few oyster flex bracelets for my BLNR for a sporty change of pace look. The issue is sourcing the right sized OF ...

Or you can try to use the below to estimate the correct lengths:

This is great. I especially like that you can put a leather strap on it as well... Thanks for sharing.

Can anyone please help with a guide to fitting the end links. I’ve bought the end links and oyster flex and now just need to put it all together.
Any help greatly appreciated |
