Sorry to bring up an old thread but....

But I walked into this same store and they had a sub date, bluesy and a rootboor in a case, but they all said for “exhibition only”!!!! I have never seen this and of course disappointed as I would have picked up the root beer for sure as my wedding watch. My wife to be asked the worker there if we purchased a gold day date whether they would sell us one of the exhibition only watched. The guy replied NO, and that sort of arrangement would only be possible in Hong Kong and China.

Anyone have suggestions here? Seems like I’m SOL here.

I think he has a point in that the date of the post does not make sense, the new Jubilee model was introduced at Basel 2019 which was prior to the post. For the US the old BLNR had been discontinued for several months prior to Baselworld, (I believe the last known shipments were October 2018), unless I am missing something this looks like new old stock somehow.

Guys this post was intended to see what u guys thought about how the store wouldn’t sell me the root beer as it was in a case that said exhibition only. Has anyone encountered this?

Yes. Most AD in Singapore have this display only set in their store now.
