Thoughts on CHNR root beer GMT

I think about 6 weeks this Friday. My other watches seriously get no wrist time - I can't take this thing off - it goes with everything.

As far as scratches...the visible parts look great. The clasp and underneath do have their share, but that's to be expected. It's gold after all.

Just shot a pic

Get the CHNR then sell the BLNR if you really think this will happen.

Thanks! Somehow the BLNR looks slimmer, but I guess thats the Jubilee effect

Thanks for the wristporn
This will be a borderline fit for even a smaller wrist I guess.

This was exactly my scenario. I was offered it by my AD and I’d never seen one.
When I saw it for the first time I was blown away. It really is stunning.

When it was released i went to my AD asking for the Pepsi that was released the same year, he said that it would be years, but I could have the Rootbeer instead.

I wasnt sure but a deposit down and i am so glad i did. I picked up mine a year ago now and i love it more and more, they got it absolutely bang on. Since i got it my Batman has got no love, it just doesnt compare.

My AD since has told me that I was very lucky to get it as they get very few compared to the SS models.

I shot one from a distance with a mirror so you can see a non-distorted pic. I always think close ups make the watch look too big.

Dude I’m sorry man.....I can’t stop laughing at the fact you have a box of Kleenex and lotion in front of the mirror

re: kleenex - OP's just at the gym is all...

I like the TT rootbeer but I think it looks better off wrist than on.

I noticed that after I shot it and thought the same thing - decided not to crop the pic. Glad I could bring you a chuckle.

Looks great on you.

I absolutely love that watch! I also love the 16713 with sunburst brown dial (especially in oyster bracelet).

I’ll get one of these or full RG one day!

Saw this on YouTube. Great analysis of root beer from industrial design perspective
https://youtu.be/OEooKXMAMi8

Also as this guy suggests in video, it will be hell of a watch with TT jubilee in rose gold

Seems as though every Reference regardless of material is going in the hard to get category. I say go to the AD and start inquiring and tell them to call you as soon as the next 126711 CHNR arrives. Since the OP has a nice collection, but seems like no relationship with an AD, then purchase this pre owned or new unworn from the secondary market, not much mark up on this model yet. Also as info, chrono24 has increased the sales commission they take from watch sales, so don't expect prices to go down. Perhaps time to buy privately or from re sellers who have lower expenses.
