I can't stand the individual they are associated with.

All Big Blocks (791XX) had the Rolex branded parts, and some early 792XX’s also had Rolex parts (often referred to as “Pre-Tiger”). The Tiger version and the Post-Tiger version had all Tudor branding, as well as a version on leather, with Polished lugs, or a unique bracelet.
2) The Tiger versions came in a bunch of “goofy” colors, and introduced the red Chrono seconds hand. It works on some models, and other are downright unattractive.
3) Tiger had a fall from grace for a while, so no one would want that association
4) A lot of people (myself included) don’t value the association of a brand (or model in this case) with a celebrity
5) Most people prefer less writing on the dial. A 7750 Chrono with a date is already pretty busy; adding the “Tiger” text makes the dial almost claustrophobic.

Just my thoughts and hypothesis. I had an “Albino” big block that I sold, but I kept my pre-Tiger porcelain panda with the 12 hour rotating bezel. I predict all pre-2000 Tudors to continue to rise, including the Tiger.
All this plus.... the individual for who these are associated dropped their Tudor endorsement while Tudor was ramping up and switch hit for Tag. If I remember it was for some $10m endorsement. That did it for me
.. beyond not signing autographs for children and other fans.

This is a very rare linen dial Tiger Tudor 79260, these are difficult to find.

He had a five year deal that ran out, then he moved to Tag. No different from any sportsman at the end of a deal switching teams or endorsements. And I've watched him sign thousands of kids autographs, he can't sign everyone obviously.

Now that's a nice looking one!

As far as "TIGER", I personally do NOT like the "TIGER" name on the dial. For one, I don't care for Golf, at all (I think a golf course is a waste of a perfectly good **hobby_that_can_not_be_spoken** range). Two, I don't want any paid "celebrity" endorsement name on my watch. Similarly, I wouldn't want a "Ferrari" Girard Perregaux even if I owned a Ferrari.

I think watch companies should just avoid putting names on the watch...if they absolutely must, put it on the caseback.

I don’t think adding the name tiger on a dial hurts it’s not like having the name George or Jim
