I prefer the WG Oysterflex Daytona with the silver face however the GMT with the meteorite face WOW!! That is in my humble opinion the smartest looking watch in the current Rolex line up.
Congrats...

Nice get, but I doubt the ADs story.

Agree. Sounds fishy.

Congrats man! Really an awesome pair!

TRF - by no means are these run of the mill pieces or pieces that are routinely found in the display case - let the man enjoy his new watches!

Thank you for all of the positive comments — the haters will always be haters behind that mighty screen even with all of the helpful knowledge they have and still chooses to bring people down rather than steer them in the right direction.

It’s been a great welcoming and can’t expect more from all sides/fonts.

I am enjoying every single drop of metal on these pieces and I can’t be more excited.

Great pair there but if I could offer one line of advice please only buy these extremely expensive time pieces if they sing to you. Watches are not investments but are a catalyst for joy

Woohoo, the white gold GMT is a stunner. If it was 42mm+ I might dare to enquire and try to save for one!

Love the nonchalant comments about rarity :)

Anyone see the Harry Enfield sketch where he's (not) considerably richer than the hotel owner?

Huge congrats. Really keeping an eye on the GMT. So under the radar but just enough special pop of the dial to grab your attention. LOVE IT!

No hater on this thread and no one is trying to bring you down IMO. Think about it for a moment. You came to a forum packed with watch enthusiasts and said you had no idea both models existed in the first place. Then you claim both are the "most rarest", and say you called your 'mentor' to know if you should buy both or not. That's not the best way to introduce your beautiful watches. Anyway, congratulations. Wear them in good health.

Cool watches. I’m normally not a fan of the black dialed Daytona or of diamond dials, but that combo works perfectly.

Congrats on your new watches. If you want rare, ask them now for a white DaytonaC and/or a blue SS sky dweller and see how quickly you can get them.

That GMT looks like a difficult dial to read. I can't even see the time in your photograph.

Awesome pics they look great, the Daytona is not especially rare - I know of an AD with one in that exact config, just landed! But the Meteorite dial is extremely difficult to find, there are just not many about and it’s a great pick up. It looks amazing and they both look great on your wrist(s). Congrats and hope you enjoy them very much.

Let me translate what the AD was really trying to say.....

These models are normally an 18 month wait and you have to be on the exclusive list (in other words, you have to have bought a ton of junk from us or buy like 6 Rolexes at once because we have been able to take advantage of buyers in this climate and forced them to do these extra things in order to get a watch at MSRP).

And, now......the jeweler is hard up suddenly with everything going on and needs to push these pieces off ASAP. Good, hope that jeweler goes out of business.
