"Rollie" just screams Jersey to me. No offense to any Jerseyites, after all I'm just an Okie.

Xenon, you may need a new pair of glasses, I have over 100 posts on this forum. Anyway, enough of the drama. Here is the pic of the SD43. The GMT is sleeping in the safe right now but I will post up picks of it shortly.

I take offense to that. We don’t talk that way .

Rollie would come from a young Long Islander staying at a Jersey Shore house with a bunch of friends from LI & Staten Island - just saying

Everyone enjoy the weekend and stay safe.

The get together in NYC with many of the world's biggest and most influential collectors is called Rolliefest.

As that’s part of the organizers screen name. I’ve never heard him refer to a Rolex as a rollie... Geoff is an extremely articulate man.

Call it what you wish but I find using nicknames and the word Rollie to describe a Rolex watch, tacky. Just my personal opinion.

After reading this whole thread the first thing that came to mind was a famous quote from Sergeant Hulka - "Lighten Up Francis".
