Apologies, I didn't articulate myself very well. I just meant most people will make incorrect assumptions. Very few times you will actually get the opportunity to explain.

Damn, it used to be that a Day Date could be bought on leather without the President bracelet. It was common and many times it was sold with non Rolex straps. Now if someone has something other than a Rolex bracelet they're some sort of imposter? How the world has changed.

Agree, if there is no attempt to dupe then I'm fine with it, just like someone putting something on an SS, like a bezel, that makes it look like the WG version is a big no no.

If there wasn't a market for these bracelets, they would have gone out of business years ago. Good aftermarket pm bracelets can be less than half what Rolex charges.

They look better than NATO straps.
