the watch is amazing period - maybe in the UK we get a better deal at £2760 inc taxes - but there is a reason you cant buy one without a wait list

if you seriously think a $300 seiko compares to a tudor BB58 there is little that can be said - i have the new green alpinist (£550 RRP in the UK) and for the money it is a great watch but in no way close

i have 3 very beautiful Rolex models and the BB58 compares very well under close inspection on quality which is stunning at not much over one third the price of a new sub - i hope to get the new sub quite soon but that will not make my BB58 blue redundant at all

its pretty awesome on the nato from tudor as well

Tudor vs Rolex so much hate I don't get it! both make superb watches and both make some no so great watches...and BB58 vs a $300 Seiko....just no, go try one on...i'm not a watch nerd, watch maker, expert, but there is a huge difference even I can see that.

BB58 in blue, yes all day long and yes I agree they can live side by side with Rolex in a collection...

I am no psychic but I doubt that I am at too much risk of losing much on my bb58 if I wanted to sell it. Even 2 year old bb58 black models still seem to trend over list

This is a strange comment. Define “better”. The real question is if a Rolex is made better than this.
These are time telling devices, and none of them, Rolex included, are “better” at telling time than your iPhone

Tudor fans don't have any issue w/ Rolex. They do have issues with certain Rolex owners. Many of us who own both brands can understand the reasoning.

It switches from navy in darker light to bright in sunlight. It’s quite changeable.

I can tell you the appeal is NOT wanting to show off/increase self-confidence for comical/sad reasons.

I would take the SLA 037 personally because i like the aesthetics and it would add variety to the collection. The 58B would be redundant.

It's not about how much $$$$ you spend, it's about how much enjoyment you get out of it

Excellent choice for a marine biologist like yourself

Unfortunately Tudor is a lowly brand for very stupid people who want Rolex quality watches without social stigma or laughable prices. What clowns

If Tudor put on a ceramic bezeL, it would be a huge hit.

dont agree to be honest - it would add cost and not really fit on a "heritage" watch
