Hottest OP41 color???

I like that they’re affordable and simple and comfortable and many colors. I don’t think there’s a best. It’s just what you like or what suits you that day if you have a choice and that’s what makes them fun and enjoyable. It’s like the opposite of the heavy hitter. No stress fun Rolex. $6000 is still a lot of cash but it’s not bad considering. And having it be so thin and well proportioned makes it hard to dislike.

I really like the silver dial and yellow gold indices. There’s something about it that’s just classy and downright pretty. The yellow gold appliqué never tarnish or get scratched. They always look perfect and pretty.

Love the Turquoise on women, not so much on guys. A little creepy for me.

In person, the yellow and coral are just not good looking watches, IMO. I would not wear either if they were given to me for free.

I am not a fan of the green but find the blue and silver to be nice looking, classy pieces.

I wanted Coral Red from the first time I saw it at the Trunk Show in 2020. As of this Tuesday I've got one!

Probably makes sense to just get a black and do a dial swap to whatever you want.

Hottest OP41 color???

Last I heard they aren’t considering dial color swaps yet. Has to be out of warranty and due for service. Then they will decide. So a few more years yet.

Rumors are they will swap when the time comes but because the turquoise was a big hit they might have a new policy when the service intervals come around so that only like for like dials can be replaced or certain dial colors can be swapped only. It’s unlikely that would allow people to swap to silver dial because of the unique yellow gold appliqué. But yet to be determined.

We will likely see people reporting their dial swap stories in a few years when warranty ends and people start requesting paid services.

They almost certainly won’t swap dial colors under warranty.

They very well might just keep their current policy of allowing dial swaps though. I could easily see people doing turquoise dial swaps in the near future and plummeting prices on those references.

It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

AFAIK people are dial swapping Daytonas and DJs to popular dials to sell for higher amounts and Rolex hasn’t had an issue with that. As long as it came on the reference as an option you can have it replaced as an option is the current policy.

RolexUSA(and presumably in most places around the world)is selective about what dial swaps are allowed. Generally speaking models that come with multiple dials i.e. Datejust and DayDate are allowed to have some dials but the high demand ones are off limits. I’m sure the new OPs follow the same criteria. I find it hard to believe that a US RSC would change the dial on a SS Daytona.

My comment wasn't alluding to RSC. Even so, I believe at some point down the road folks will have the ability to swap via RSC.

What I was referring to was to get an OEM tiffany dial and have a local watchmaker swap it onto the black OP41.

What do you mean by hot? Black dials aren’t really striking. Turquoise, yellow, red are more popping….

My vote is for Turquoise but I wasn't expecting Green to be that high. Thought 2 and 3 would be Yellow and Coral Red.

And where would that local watchmaker get an OEM turquoise dial from? I would bet they are replacement only.

I purchased the silver and could not be more pleased. I am a conservative dresser, and I feel the 41 silver is much more versatile for me. Not into the bright colors at all.

I love them all. If I could get one it would be the 36mm turquoise. Second choice would be yellow and third would be green. Really fun pieces!

Hypothetically speaking, I would source one and give to the watchmaker.

There’s a whole other market for Rolex OEM parts out there.

Everyone can give their opinion, mine being green. But undeniably and unarguably the blue is “hottest”
