So happy that I picked up my two Rolex watches without any of this grey market nonsense, all at retail price from my AD and that is where any other Rolex watches will come from. I just don't get people paying crazy grey market prices but it is their money and their choice so I guess sod all to do with me.

Crazy a 41 OP sells for more then the retail price of a stainless steel Daytona.

However we all know what it's like trying to get a stainless steel Daytona at retail. But still, it is an interesting concept to think about.

Wow. This OP is approaching the grey price of a Batgirl/Batman.

It's ridiculous and I'm telling you in a year or so no one is going to care much for OP and it will just go back to being the "entry level" Rolex it always was. That doesn't mean it's a bad watch, just means it's insane to pay mark-up on them IMO.

The truth is people want color AND a Rolex.

I do not follow the current intricacies of the RSC. Will they do a dial swap on a new purchase?

Man i feel really good about my 16628 YM and 18038 Day-Date and 116600 SD4K

All of those were cheaper (individually) than this "Tiffany" OP.

I tend to agree but the heart wants what the heart wants. Really don’t suit my style any of the bright colours I can’t see when I would wear one. Many other colourful interesting watches at a much better price I.E milgauss.

15K for an OP, without even a date complication, is just dumb IMHO. That's nearly triple retail.

To my knowledge, no. What you've bought is what you've got.

1) There was a yellow OP41 mint unpolished example at another grey for $10.5k over the weekend. It sold quickly but it had been there for a week maybe. 13-15k is a bit ridiculous.

2) There really isn't much demand for these so much as there is very little supply. For example, there are two ADs in my city. One told me they've only received 1 OP41 and 1 OP36 in any color. Another AD, dedicated Rolex store, has gotten more, but less of the hot colors.

3) Additionally, it is much harder to get a 126040 than a Sub Date right now. It seems production just isn't there for time only 70h movements. Why would production constrained Rolex focus on time only movements which only go into steel watches? A time only steel rolex with 70h power reserve is the last watch Rolex would want to sell you right now.

4) For anyone considering paying thru the nose for these in the grey, I present to you the cautionary tale below:

I think all those colors are ugly, get a Michael Kors instead or the gold Michele with real rhinestones.

At one point in my life a $100 watch was great, then a $1000, now a $10,000. Just saying there are many people who are in the $100,000 category who dont care about us in the $10,000. They drive the luxury market.

Must have been bought by someone with more bucks than brains. These are the people that keep the gray's prices at these ridiculous levels.

Am always amazed at peoples surprise at classic capitalism in effect...If he can make $100,000 profit, why not. Its how our economy operates. He is not putting a gun to anyones head to buy it. If anyone is crazy enough to pay a certain amount, why should he refuse it.

I wonder how much I can get for the turquoise OP 36! 🤔 The bigger problem is to get my wife to agree selling it. She never wears it.

Buying an OP over list is ridiculous to me. So many nicer watches at $15k.

The real price is what someone...will pay. Short supply - bubble prices. Most bubbles burst eventually.
