My wrist is small, is a size 15cm. I’m more dressy than casual since I’m a lawyer and I only dress casual on weekends. I like to see the Daytona with dressy clothes though. I think it looks cool. I want a watch to wear in every occasion... I love the design of the RO, considering size 34mm too

I’m a wrist size 15cm. I’m more dressy than casual as I’m a lawyer, but pretty casual on weekends. I want a watch to wear in all situations, I like to see the Daytona with dressy clothes, I think it looks cool. But for me the RO is more unique. I love the design. Selling the Daytona will be a headache, considering size 34mm RO rose gold too as they have released in 2020 an automatic version, just like 37mm but only with white dial

I'm a big AP fan, and we just bought a 15450 for my wife. Her daily is a steel Daytona. Both great watches, but while the AP is more special, the Daytona strikes me as a better every-day, GADA watch. If going for a 37mm RG RO, I would probably prefer the frosted gold version or as a grail the 37mm open worked.

I was hoping you would say the white dial AP as I think it’s perfect for a woman.
But that Daytona looks
You really can’t go wrong.
Lucky girl!

One other thing: looks like you’re wearing that Daytona a little loose. I’d be more hesitant to do that with an AP automatic, given the relative fragility.

True, it looks loose because it's a little big for my wrist. Here are 2 photos, first RO 33mm (quartz model, which I will not consider) and second with my daytona. Given the price difference I'm considering RO size 34mm

Daytona is more distant looks kind of smaller, but that's due to the photo

the 15450 wears smaller than the daytona so if you like the size of the daytona you'll be fine, the 34mm will be noticeably smaller though

If you like the slightly oversized look of the Daytona the 37mm RO should be great. 34mm will be a more "fitted" look.

The jewelry next to the RO makes me nervous.

My comment was about how "dangly" the Daytona looked in the photo, which is a popular style (as in not tight on the wrist). Typically done intentionally. A Rolex works for that, but I'd be concerned about the amount an AP, with its more fragile movement, would "flop" around.

I can't tell from the photo how loose the bracelet is and if it is intentional.

Either size case looks fine, as that's just a question of personal/stylistic preference. Same thing with tight vs. dangly; as a style either is totally fine, but from a wear and tear perspective, one of those watches presents more cause for concern than the other.

My previous model was a datejust 36mm, fitted super well, the daytona is my first big watch, still getting used to it.

Regarding the jewelry ahaha I was super carefull, that RO was from AP boutique, size 33mm

Daytona RG chocolate dial vs AP all day, every day.

I prefer tight than loose to be honest, the daytona bracelet wasn't tight enough in that photo.

RO is finished nicer but Daytona is more robust. I'd go with the Daytona personally.

It's better to have both if you can, they are so gorgeous timepieces.

I have both PM Daytona (not the same model with you) and RG 15500OR, I love both of them so much.

Not that the OP asked for other suggestions, but ever consider a Patek 7118R (probably difficult to obtain) or 7030R (probably pretty easy to get)? The latter in particular should be very easy to get fitted, given the style bracelet and how it attaches.

Both the Daytona and AP 37mm RO are excellent to own and either would be a good choice for you. Both have status and a presence on the wrist. It is really a choice of how the watch fits your wrist. How the watch reflects your personal style. Until you can have both, then which brand satisfies your inner self for this moment.

PM Daytona looks good on you in the pic... however a PM AP RO is on another level, especially in terms of finishing. Best choice is obviously to own both, but if you had to choose one, AP easily

Everose and chocolate combo is a favourite of mine I'll admit but that whole Daytona package looks perfect on you. No contest.

Rolex Daytona Everose Gold vs Audemar Piguet Royal Oak 37mm Rose Gold

IMO the Royal Oak looks far more elegant, the Daytona is more sporty.

I took a friend of mine to AP House in London yesterday, he was wearing his favourite watch....a platinum Daytona. After trying on a number of Offshores and Royal Oaks he looked down at his Daytona and said that by comparison it was a piece of junk.

Have you considered a Lange Saxonia Thin?
Its a classier and better watch than the AP or the Rolex
