I bet many on the Rolex discussion board never held a AP ROC in person so they are just judging off pictures, which is not fair. I was never an AP fan until I tried one on and it blew me away. Pictures and videos don't do it justice. I saw a video where an AP owner posted a wrist turn which showed the classic AP bracelet links flashing in the sun. A Rolex owner posted a follow up wrist turn video saying look at my sub, not knowing it was lacking any sort of bracelet fireworks. Long story short the AP needs to be seen in person. On the flip side, I love the Daytona but in the metal it is a little underwhelming considering the 45K asking price now days. |
