Incredible collection. Many of your watches as a standalone would be the jewel/grail in a lot of other collections.

Same! I have a strong preference for white metals but this watch looks so good in RG. I prefer it to the steel. I doubt I’ll get another RG piece but may end up with a yellow gold piece at some point.

How about the 5726a with blue dial?

A nice piece indeed, that would round out your amazing Nautilus collection.

This is a rare occasion where someone’s purchasing power and taste are equally strong.

Thank you! I’ve since sold the Seamaster and the empty spot in the box is driving me a bit mad. But, thinking on what the perfect fit would be is part of the fun.

Hmm, I like the 5520 but it's not for everyone. I'm having a hard time deciding on my next and may end up waiting to see what comes out next year....

Not crazy about the 5520. 16th probably won’t be a Patek unless a 5740 shows up with my name on it. Thinking diver (126619lb) or vintage or a new brand.

I like the 126619lb - are you familiar with the weight? I had a 116509 and personally found it a little heavy. If I wore it daily I'm sure I would get used to it but when trading off with lighter watches it was notable. Have to assume this one would be similar.

It’s been quite a journey! Since my current collection is heavily Patek, I thought I’d continue the thread here. For the moment, I’m trying to stay at a max of 16 pieces, so I recently moved my Glasshütte SeaQ to add the 5968g. Here they are… Not sure what’s next!

Amazing collection. Other than heavy in Patek, it seems like you are also heavy with chronos. Maybe a minute repeater for a change? Or a Tourbillion?

I also have two questions for you. Since the 5172 and 5320 are like siblings, how do you compare the wear? Which one do you grab for more?

The brown strap on the 5320 looks nice. Can you post more pics? And where did you get it?

5078g is on my radar. Definitely will move into higher grand complications going forward.

I tend to wear the 5320. It’s a touch smaller and I like to have the date especially during the week. Both are obviously fantastic though.

It’s actually a khaki green strap. It’s a custom Jean Rousseau that I had made by a company named Alex Crown. Check them out on Instagram!

I love this strap on the 5320. And pardon my mistake as I am color blind.

May I ask how come you did not go directly with JR but through Alex Crown? I am asking because I just ordered and received a strap from JR but found their service a little off ( not bad but off).

And will you mind if I use your picture as a reference if I am ordering from JR? With a strap like this, I can see myself daily the 5320.

I prefer the service of Alex Crown and they help design it. I don’t have much of an eye for it but when I order from them it’s always spot on. They also did the grey with salmon stitching for my 5270p. Worth checking them out.

For reference this one is khaki green ostrich with platinum stitching. It’s really fantastic on this watch — goes well with the cream dial and slight green from the lume.

I see. Same here as I am very bad at visualizing anything in my head. I may want to check them out.

I would have never imagined that it is an ostrich but thought it as calf. Thanks for the pointer.

I like how you swap out all the factory straps from the alligator straps to something more casual. You have inspired me to go on strap hunts for all my “dress” watches.

Quick update. BLNR out, 5740 in. Feel like I’m mostly done. I have some hankering to massively consolidate but I do really love the collection.
