Aesthetically Daytona, I don’t like industrial look of AP especially nuts like crowns. However, craftsmanship is on the different level and the price difference is not an accidental.

The panda would be the 116519LN.
Daytona is the best chrono with the Datograph. I tried AP several years ago and never again ! (reliability, after-sales service (delays and price))

As much as I love the 116500LN; the AP just looks much more finely finished all around, what a gorgeous piece.

Ive thought about starting a relationship with AP, is it even possible to get anything even if you buy a Code?

Anyways to the topic, I can't really consider the AP a Panda w/ those blue sub dials..
1150 so the date is getting ready to flip to the next day

I really like both of those but if I had to pick one, it would be the Daytona. I think the AP looks nicer but the Daytona is a tougher and more robust watch. On top of that, I don't like the fact that the ROC doesn't have a display caseback. It's time AP made that change. I have a 42mm ROO and I love being able to see the movement. On a Rolex, I don't care. But if I'm paying AP prices, I want to be able to admire the workmanship.

Quite an apt question as I did buy an AP RO Chrono and my 1st Daytona, a Paul Newman dial on OF in the last 6-12 months

I have to say, the Daytona is built like a tank as I've found other Rolexes to be. The AP is my second Royal Oak, my 1st was a date only blue 15400 but the crown is kinda sticking out/doesn't screw in all the way & according to my SA it needs to be sent to the watchmakers. This is after 10 months buying from new

What’s the problem with it?

I’d love to hear about your thoughts comparing the ROC and Paul Newman oysterflex. Which ROC do you have?

The AP uses a FP movement. I think the wobble is abit of an issue if you don't like the rotor noise.

That being said.. I would say the Vacheron 49150 gen 2 is much better priced and better made than both this watches.. oops.
